The Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Clare has launched a series of podcasts that is proving to be very popular and informative. The series, called “#Making it Happen” is produced and presented by Ger Sweeney and features eight Clare-based entrepreneurs who have availed of supports and/or services offered by LEO Clare. Each episode is different in that the participants talk about their own relationship with the Local Enterprise Office and how it has helped them grow their business.
The aim of the series is twofold – To promote the work of the Local Enterprise Office Clare giving real examples of how the many supports and programmes can help local businesses. It also aims to promote the businesses that are featured so listeners can get a sense of the entrepreneurial spirit that exists in local communities.
As 2020 has not been a year like any other there is a great insight throughout the series into how local businesses adjusted and re-focused to survive. Each of the business people interviewed spoke of how the Local Enterprise Office Clare made this possible.
