This week George and Ger discuss a number of stories that had Irish people talking over the past week. Included in this there is mention of the State’s longest ever running murder trial which concluded with a guilty verdict last week. Bodies decomposing in corridors of the mortuary at Waterford University Hospital and the Taoiseach’s response features as does Ruby Walsh’s retirement. The recent High Court victory for Ruth Morrisey and her husband who have been awarded €2.1m despite our Taoiseach’s promise 12 months ago that after Vicky Phelan no othere woman in Ireland would have to go through the courts for redress.
There is plenty more discussed and in what appears to be a new aspect of the sumit there is a nice piece of music to finish it off
